Walt Disney World

Transportation:

The Minnie Van service is a fun, quick and efficient way to get around the Walt Disney World property ($25 flat fee), which is a great option for those not wanting to wait on the Disney shuttle buses. It’s particularly helpful when in a rush or are needing to get to the Magic Kingdom for an early morning reservation. As with the Disney buses, the Minnie Vans can drop guests off directly at the Magic Kingdom, steps away
from the gates, as opposed to non-Disney transportation services, which drop guests at the Magic Kingdom parking area located at the Transportation and Ticket Center,
requiring an additional step of taking the monorail or ferry boat to the

Magic Kingdom.

About Me:

Once a Walt Disney World Cast Member, and now your Disney insider! Following years of visiting Walt Disney World, as a kid / teen, growing my passion for all things Disney, I knew in my heart the next logical step for me was to become a Disney Cast Member! I applied, interviewed for and got accepted into the Walt Disney World College Program, where I lived, breathed and played Disney. My love for Disney only grew from there. Through the years, I have experienced Walt Disney World, on solo trips, as a couple, with friends, and with family, including with my nephews!

I have always enjoyed helping friends and family plan their trips by offering info and tips, so when the opportunity arose to become a Disney Vacation Planner, I did not hesitate. My love for Disney and travel, extensive knowledge and experience in Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and Aulani, along with the joy I feel in helping others enjoy Disney vacations as much as I have, I knew this was the perfect next step!

FAQ’s

What types of vacations can I book through you?

We can book Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Aulani – A Disney Resort & Spa and Universal Studios (Florida and California). While I can also book non-Disney hotels and cruises, my expertise centers around Disney.

What services do you provide?

In addition to booking the vacation for you, we also pre-plan by going through options / quotes to help you decide what best suites your family. Once booked, we provide tips / tricks, restaurant and FastPass recommendations (I’ll even book them for you if you want!), create a proposed itinerary, and answer any questions that may arise. Disney Vacations tend to be the most difficult for clients to plan on their own as the offerings are constantly evolving. We keep up with the latest news for you!

Do you charge clients a fee for booking through you?

No. goMagic makes commission, from Disney, for booking vacations.

Why would I book through you instead of a big box store offering discounted vacation packages?

We, at goMagic, are selling a product and providing a valuable planning service, years of vacation experience, offering options within your budget, and recommendations you may not realize are available. We’ll let you know about special events, and unique opportunities happening during your vacation. We will monitor your trip, and if a discount becomes available that reduces your cost, re-book you with the better value. We will be available to answer your questions, give advice that is specialized to your vacation needs, preferences and requirements. The big box store will book the vacation you ask them to book.

What if I book my vacation and then a discount is offered?

Included in our basic service is discount monitoring! If a discount becomes available that reduces your cost, we will re-book you with the better value. In some cases, depending on when booked, the special offer can still be higher than the original booking as room rates may increase over time, thus highlighting one of the benefits of booking early!

How early can I book?

Package pricing for the upcoming year, is usually released in June; However, Room Only can be booked up to 455 days out. This latter option may be good for anyone wanting to guarantee a specific room type. Once package prices are released, there are two options: Keep the reservation at Room Only, or have it re-booked as a package.

Do you offer discounted park tickets?

Only if Disney is offering the same discount. The pricing we quote is based on what Disney is currently offering.

Why is it better to book a Walt Disney World package versus booking a hotel only and purchasing discounted tickets from a 3rd party?

Tickets purchased separately are non-refundable and non-transferable; However, when purchased as a package, the tickets fall under the vacation package cancellation policy (> 30 days, $0 loss; 29 – 2 days prior, $200 deposit loss; < 1 day prior loss of full package cost).

Should I buy travel insurance?

Even if you are determined to go on the vacation no matter what, life happens. Travel insurance provides peace of mind so that if unfortunate circumstances arise, you won’t be out a lot of hard-earned money. There are several circumstances where having travel insurance will be a weight off your shoulders should an unexpected event occur (e.g. lost luggage, missed connection etc.), especially on cruises, where a visit to the ship’s doctor for a sprained ankle, sea sickness or worse, could be costly, and isn’t covered by your regular health insurance. There are many different plans available, and I can recommend one that fits your budget, and protects you from a surprise expense.

I am a Disney fanatic and participate inof a lot of Disney groups that share trip planning information. Why would someone like me need a Vacation Planner?

I am here to help as much or as little as clientswant. My service is to help clients where needed so that they can focus on the fun. In some cases, it may be minimal planning on my part, but if a call into Disney is required to make changes or resolve an issue, I will do that for you so you don’t have to waste any time! I will also beup early to book dining reservations and FastPasses, when your booking window opens. I will offer guidance and answer any questions that my come up along the way.

What expertise can you bring to families traveling with children?

I have spent time with children of varying ages at Walt Disney World, including my own nephews, and what I have learned is, regardless of age, every child is different when it comes to what they may enjoy. My experience and knowledge of the Disney Parks, enables me to describe things in a way that will allow the parent to decide what their child will and will not enjoy.

Do you also book hotels off Disney property for Disneyland and Walt Disney World?

Yes! There are many advantages for staying on property, but there are also plenty of great “Good Neighbor” hotels to choose from. We can even accommodate large families or groups wanting to stay on or off property as well!
