If you are planning a ladies trip to Walt Disney World I have the resort for you! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a lavish Victorian-style hotel on the Monorail at Walt Disney World. This is a deluxe resort and is one of those places that usually ends up on Disney Bucket Lists of places to one day stay. I recently had the opportunity to scratch it off my list, and let me tell you, it lives up to the hype! Let’s talk about the ultimate Bachelorette / Girls’ Trip experience!
The attention to detail and the exquisiteness is something to write home about! These rooms were made for Princesses! The views vary as you can overlook one of the many
beautiful gardens, lagoon, Magic Kingdom Park, or even a cool view of the monorail (the view I had!). The room categories vary, but most rooms sleep 5 adults, with one and two-bedroom suites accommodating 6-8 adults. Great options for splitting the cost between your BFF’s!
You can expect to be pampered in a variety of ways with options galore to nurture your senses! There is a long list of services to choose, from Facials to Foot Reflexology Massages and Immersion Body Treatments. This full-service spa will have something for
Have you ever been curious what Afternoon Tea is all about? If so, let me explain why Disney is the place to experience it! The Garden View Tea Room offers a relaxing ambiance for delighting in afternoon tea. It’s a perfect way to leisurely enjoy some time together indulging in a delightful selection of treats and delicious collection of international teas, served in grand British style. This is a place where you can feel like royalty without having to dress like it! Relax, indulge and soak it all in.
Ivy Trellis Salon
Yes, in addition to the spa they have a salon! This magical salon is located on the 2nd floor inside the Lobby of the Resort. It truly is a hidden gem. Guests can walk in feeling like Pre-Ball Cinderella and walk out singing Bippity Boppity Boo! Have you ever dreamed of being made into your favorite Princess?! Now your dream can come true, as Ivy Trellis now offers Character Couture Packages for adults (cue-squeal!)! The Packages offer: Storybook Style (Classic character-inspired hairstyle), Magical Makeover (Classic character-inspired hairstyle and makeup) and Timeless Transformation(Classic character-inspired hairstyle, makeup and nails). On my recent trip, I opted for the Storybook Style Package with Belle inspired hairstyle! Carol did an amazing job on my hair, she took her time and I could feel that she really cared about making sure that I was 100% happy with the turnout. The stylists can make your hairstyle as close to the character or as loosely inspired to the character as you like! It is such a fun experience!
