Jolene's Favorite Tips

Disney Parks

My biggest piece of advice is get to the park when it opens.  Usually things start getting busy around 11AM and stay busy until 5 or 6PM.  By getting there when it opens at 8 or 9AM depending on the day, you get 2 to 3 hours of shorter lines.

Disney Cruise Line

Palos is an adult only restaurant with incredible food.  Make reservations for this in your cruise plans and if you are cruising with the kid let them play and dine in the Oceaneer Club.

Also once you make your final payment, make sure you reserve your time to get photos with Anna and Elsa and the princesses!

Jolene Stevens, Owner and Vacation Planner

Disney's Blizzard Beach was where Jolene started her Disney career.  It was her first Disney College Program and working for the Mouse was a dream come true.  She continued to work for Disney throughout her college career, doing advanced internships in Guest Relations at Hollywood Studios, and Human Resources for the Disney Cruise Line.

After college Jolene returned once again to work in Disney's Youth Group Sales, there she specialized in Disney's Youth Education Series (YES Programs).  She also had the great opportunity to work on some large events like Night of Joy and Grad Nite.  Starting her career with Disney really set the stage for the quality and standards she would expect and strive for with all her other jobs.

After she left Disney to explore the outside world, Jolene worked in sales, marketing and operations for some large companies and some small start ups.  There were many great adventures but there is nothing quite like Disney.  So goMagic was created.  Jolene is back doing what she loves - helping make the magic!

Not only does she have experience working for Disney, she has a ton of experience playing at Disney!  These days you will find her there with her husband, Jon, and two kids, Benjamin and Evangeline.  However, she has explored Disney in many different ways:  by herself, as a couple, for a girls weekend, as part of a large family reunion, and with a young family.  One of the wonderful things about Disney is that there is something for everyone!
