Once upon a time, in our college days, we embarked upon a magical adventure -  the Disney College Program.  As interns we worked in the parks and resorts at Walt Disney World for 5-6 months at a time.  As you can imagine, we learned the property inside and out.  What does that mean for you?  It means that by booking with us you are getting not just Disney enthusiasts but Disney experts.  We understand how the parks work, how to be efficient, and we have experienced so much of what Disney has to offer.

 

The training Disney does for all their employees is extensive.  Everyone starts out with Traditions.  It doesn’t matter if you are coming in as a part time worker in the parks or whether you are sitting in the corner office, everyone starts by learning about the history of the company.  After all, it was all started by a mouse.  When I worked in Guest Relations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (back then it was Disney/MGM Studios) we did almost a full month of training.  We went all over property touring resorts, eating at the restaurants, and learning the history of the parks.  Going through this type of training is what makes the agents at goMagic unique.  Disney has a training program call the Disney College of Knowledge and this is something most travel agents take.  It’s an online course that gives you an overview of the different destinations but as you can imagine, being trained on site for weeks is a bit different than doing an online course.
