Is a Group VIP Tour at Walt Disney World Worth the Price?

Disney VIP

Did you know that the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida offers group Disney VIP Tours? These various VIP Tours are very popular and are offered at the 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks. But are the tours worth the price?

The Ultimate Disney Classics VIP Tour is a 4 hour small group tour that takes you through the popular classic attractions at the Magic Kingdom Park. There is no height restriction so this is a perfect tour for all ages! The Ultimate Nights of Adventure VIP Tour is a 4 hour guided group tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom that will take you to enjoy the most popular attractions, includes a light snack, and VIP viewing for the nighttime spectacular. The Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour is an action-packed 7 hour group tour that will take you to some of the most popular attractions at 3 of the Walt Disney World theme parks that also includes lunch at a quick-service restaurant and transportation. However, if you are looking for the a personalized VIP Disney experience then you want to book the Disney Private VIP Services. You decide which park(s) you want to visit and which attractions you experience. This is booked for a minimum of 7 hours. It also includes VIP viewing of parades, shows or nighttime spectaculars. All of these tours require valid theme park admission that is not included in the cost of the tour.

I recently had the opportunity to experience the Ultimate Nights of Adventure VIP Tour. My tour began with a check-in where I received my VIP lanyard to wear

throughout the tour. I was also given a choice of dessert and drink (alcohol is available for those 21 years of age and older), this was included in the price of the tour. I would receive this order with my light snack later during our journey. My group was escorted by two Disney tour guides through the park to experience the most popular attractions. They shared special information about the park and their own personal work experiences along the way. We skipped the regular lines by going through the FastPass line at each attraction. We enjoyed Kilimanjaro Safaris and both of the extremely popular attractions, Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey, in Pandora -TheWorld of Avatar! Flights of Passage had a current wait time of 85 minutes so we were very excited to have the opportunity to experience this ride!

After experiencing several attractions it was time to enjoy our light snack. We were escorted to Satu’li Canteen, which is a quick service dining location, and were given one sampler platter per table to share and enjoy. I cannot believe this is a quick service location! The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious and the dessert was divine! This was much more than a light snack! Satu’li Canteen does offer mobile ordering and they did a fantastic job catering to those with a food allergy. I recommend telling the cast

member about any food allergies when booking your tour. After enjoying Satu’li Canteen, and getting to know some more about my fellow tour guests, it was time to journey across the park for more adventure. We enjoyed the Dinosaur attraction with no wait, and then Expedition Everest. Not all of the tour guests wanted to ride this attraction so they waited at the exit while we went in search of the Yeti. We had one more experience waiting for us. Our tour guides escorted us to reserved seating for a viewing of the Rivers of Light show. This spectacular display of water, light and music was a wonderful way to end the evening.

Would I recommend booking a VIP tour at Walt Disney World? Yes, if you are visiting during a busy time of year, are very limited on your time in the parks, or just want that special VIP treatment that only Disney can create for you. This is the perfect way to enjoy the most popular, not-to-be missed attractions. The knowledgeable and friendly Disney tour guides complete this amazing experience full of Disney magic. I thoroughly enjoyed my VIP special tour!

Planning for your vacation can be an overwhelming process. I recommend using a vacation planner, like myself :) , to help make your vacation magical and stress-free. The Disney VIP Tours are limited and do book up quickly, so I recommend booking yours as early as possible, beginning 180 days in advance. All tour experiences and prices are subject to change.
